Verdicta Privacy Notice

Verdicta is operated by Green Circuit Automation. This notice explains how we process personal information when you use verdicta.online, create a free account, submit a legal intake, upload a document, ask a follow-up question, or request an introduction to a law firm.
Information we collect
We may collect your name, email address, phone number, preferred contact method, country and region; the facts you provide about a legal matter; documents or links you submit; verification, account and usage records; your consent choices; and technical security information such as IP address, timestamps and browser data.
Legal matters can contain sensitive information about you or other people. Only provide information that is relevant and that you are authorised to share. Do not use Verdicta for emergencies.
Why we process it
We process information to verify your account, provide AI-assisted intake and document services, return and store your results, answer follow-up questions, protect the service from abuse, maintain security and audit records, and operate the client and firm workspaces. We process information with your consent and where otherwise permitted by applicable law.
AI and service providers
Your intake may be processed by hosting, automation, email, security and AI service providers acting for Verdicta. Some providers may process information outside South Africa. We take reasonable steps to use appropriate providers and safeguards. AI output can be incomplete or wrong and is not a substitute for advice from a qualified attorney.
Law-firm introductions
Lawyer matching is optional. We first ask separately for permission to match your matter. We do not share your identity or legal narrative with a selected law firm unless you give a further, firm-specific sharing consent. A firm’s subscription does not improve its match ranking.
Marketing
Product updates are optional and require a separate choice. You may withdraw that choice at any time by contacting us. Withdrawing marketing consent does not stop necessary service messages.
Retention and security
We retain information only for as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes above, to maintain security and audit records, and to meet legal obligations. We use access controls, signed links, rate limits and other reasonable safeguards. No internet service can guarantee absolute security.
Your choices and rights
Subject to applicable law, you may ask whether we hold your personal information and request access, correction or deletion; object to certain processing; or withdraw consent where consent is the basis for processing. You may also complain to South Africa’s Information Regulator.
